This weekend SaskWhitewater had the opportunity to participate in the Saskatoon Sports and Leisure Show. We had tremendous success talking to people about our programs, the other various programs we support, the new website, and especially the Whitewater Park and Hydro station proposal at the weir. We also met a number of new friends who we hope to work with in the future to offer some amazing opportunities to whitewater canoe and kayak enthusiests around Saskatchewan.
A tremendous THANKYOU goes out to Eb’s Source for Aventure who gracously supplied us with room in their booth all 4 days of the show. If you need any outdoor equipment and the expertise to go along with your purchace, make sure you check out Eb’s, one block east of Idylwyld on 38th street; www.ebssailandsports.ca. Without the support of local companies and organizations like Eb’s we could not offer the public our programs and experience. Thankyou again to James and his staff.
As I mentioned, we met a number of new friends at his years show so we thought it would be a good idea to share some of what we learned throughout the weekend with all of you!!!!
